Borobi Junction

Our “Borobi Junction” property is a 361ha property, located near the township of Linville, in the Somerset Regional Council area. The property is located at the junction of the Brisbane River and Monsildale Creek, with the Brisbane River forming a natural boundary, meandering alongside the property and supporting a vibrant riparian ecosystem.

Rising from the river flats, the land transitions into undulating hills dotted with remnant and regenerating eucalypt woodland. This property is an ideal property for habitat regeneration, has a good mix of non-remnant, regrowth and remnant regional ecosystems that support Koala, Grey-headed Flying-fox and Greater Glider, and potentially other species that share the same habitat attributes.

The property is located within a Statewide Biodiversity Corridor on the eastern boundary, associated with the Brisbane River. Benarkin State Forest is located approximately 4 km to the west and Squirrel Creek National Park 5 km to the north-east.

This property has been endorsed by the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environmental & Water (DCCEEW) as a suitable site for advanced offsets for Koala and Grey-headed Flying-fox as part of their advanced offset application process.
